Women’s Circle

Join the AFL’s Women’s Circle on Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 pm at the library. It will be an evening of Crafting and Conversation. Our own Dee Neff will guide us through a holiday bead craft. Please come with any stored-up thoughts or topics you’d like to introduce into the conversation for the evening. This is a great month to test the waters if you are a newcomer.

The next LVC film in their Exploring the World through Film series will be Bread and Roses, a 2023 film capturing the experiences of Afghanistan’s women under the Taliban since they took control of Kabul. The viewing is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, in the Bishop Library at 5:30 pm. Mark your calendar if you’d like to attend with fellow Circle members. We will meet inside the library main entrance at 5:15.

Women’s Circle meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
Meetings usually have a topic that is decided by the group ahead of time.
