We put the Fun in Fundraising at AFL!

Why is it important to support your local library?

Even if you don’t frequent our library (or any library for that matter), libraries serve their communities by providing free access to all sorts of knowledge! Whether it is space for after school reading groups to meet (which the AFL offers during the school year) or computer classes for those who want to further their tech skills (we offer these too!), libraries help to connect their communities with the resources they need to succeed.

Our Yearly Fundraisers:

February’s “Love your Library” Tattoo Fundraiser:

AFL partners with a local tattoo parlor who designs book/library themed flash sheets. Those who participate in the fundraiser have the whole month of February to pick a design and get inked. Both the library and the tattoo shop receive proceeds from every tattoo! (Temporary tattoos are also available for purchase at the library for those who are not looking for anything permanent).

June “Book It!” 5K Fun Run/Walk Fundraiser:

Patrons can pay to register and participate in our annual 5K fun run/walk fundraiser held at the Annville-Cleona High School! Click here to go to our webpage for the 2026 race.
